About us

On the verge of the historic heart of Haarlem, at the corner of the Nassaustraat and the Lange Margarethastraat, you’ll find Restaurant De Zeeuw. The restaurant radiates the atmosphere of a Paris’ Saint-Germain or Le Marais restaurant. The area might bring you associations with the streets around the famous Cathedral of Our Lady in Antwerp or parts around Brussels’ historic market. De Zeeuw is a meeting place for everyone who wants to enjoy affordable and accessible gastronomy.

After many (inter)national journeys, chef and patron Jeroen de Zeeuw is back home in his beloved Haarlem. His creations change according to the season and the fresh produce of its suppliers. As a result, the menu is constantly changing.

Jeroen is a creative cook with a lot of attention for local products and ‘terroir’. He and his partner in life, host and sommelier Janine de Zeeuw-Kinderman, have a passion for pure wines.

The dishes are characterized by their playful character and digestibility but always while maintaining quality and craftsmanship. In addition, wherever possible, sustainable products are used wherever possible.
